Innovation survey shows high tech is driving Berlin’s upbeat economic development

In early May the Senate Department for Economic Affairs, Technology and Research released the latest figures on the city’s economic development. Once more, at 2.2 percent the growth rate in Berlin is higher than the national average of 1.8 percent. According to the Technologiestiftung Berlin such a growth rate is only possible because Berlin has consistently focused on innovation over the past few years.
