Berlin Partner for Business and Technology had a shared stand together with the ICT inter-trade organization SIBB and the ZukunftsAgentur Brandenburg (ZAB) at this year’s Droidcon in Madrid in order to inform about the ICT location Berlin within the scope of the “log in. berlin.” campaign.
Droidcon is an independent conference for ICT developers within the field of the system software Android. It all started in Berlin in 2009 and by now takes places in 15 locations worldwide. The first Droidcon in Berlin’s twin city Madrid attracted more than 450 participants due to its diverse lecture program and an accompanying exhibition. It was the recruiting of specialized staff in ICT that took the center stage of the capital region’s shared stand. Several businesses from the region were present and various other companies already offered concrete vacancies to visitors which could be implemented on a jobboard. The partners of the shared stand called attention to the job exchange platform “Talents in Berlin” as well as to the service of SIBB to send in CVs which then can be passed on to suitable companies within the region. Additionally, the topic of “working in the capital region” had been introduced in a corporate speech and was deepened in various individual discussions with interested parties.
