The campaign for the IT hub Berlin

The log in. berlin. promotional campaign tells the world the strengths of Berlin’s IT industry. Ads in German and international media whet the appetite for the city as a place to work and live. Campaign partners showcase Berlin at key events and trade shows in Germany and abroad. Info material and give-aways are given to all partners free of charge to support their joint pitch for the city. What’s more, the campaign also offers its partners a platform where they can advertise their own IT job opportunities and recruit professionals.

The campaign’s blog gives fascinating insights into the diversity and special features that go to make up Berlin’s digital economy.

And the campaign slogan says it all - redefine the possible. log in. berlin!

Berlin – the place to be

“Berlin is the place to set up a start-up that has something to do with the internet.” – perceptions like this have long been bandied around in the German and international media. The German capital’s digital scene is featured, discussed and followed by media across the whole world. It has a clear profile and that profile is decidedly international. Yet the IT and companies and telecoms on Berlin’s doorstep receive far less media attention even though the region boasts a broadly diverse and flourishing IT economy with key global players in the IT branch and numerous medium-sized companies. redefine the possible. log in. berlin.

This is the intriguing claim that whets the appetite of IT decision-makers, industry professionals and investors for Berlin.

Campaign measures include ads in the regional, national and international media. Berlin is also on the ground at key events and trade shows throughout Germany and abroad.

The marketing material that supports the campaign presents a fresh up-to-the minute image of the city. It too helps to “redefine the possible“.

Campaign Partners

The campaign would not exist without the steadfast support and passionate dedication of the many companies and institutions who believe in Berlin as a great place to work and live. The Berliner Wirtschaftsverwaltung (Senate Department for Economic Affairs) and Berlin Partner for Business and Technology are jointly responsible for management of the campaign while the IHK and SIBB have joined forces with over 290 companies and institutions in spreading it.

The positions elaborated to promote the benefits of Berlin as the place for IT can be summarised snappily in one single sentence – “This is where IT, research and the creative industry come together to reinvent the digital world.“
